All participants are expected to make their own travel and accommodation arrangements. The closest airport is Venice Marco Polo (VCE); from the airport, take the water bus! The train station Venezia Santa Lucia is inside Venice.

Venice has many hotels and apartments. August is not the busiest period but it is best to book a few months early. The following places are recommended by our Venice manager:

Hotel Belle Arti
Hotel Bel Sito

A pleasant feature of Venice is to commute with the vaporetto, the water bus. This is necessary if the hotel is on different island such as the Giudecca or the Lido. The cost is €60 for the week.

If you would like to attend the conference, please contact one of the organisers. There are no registration fees, and there is some limited support, to be spent on junior participants (those without a permanent position).
