Tucson International Airport is 10 miles South of Tucson.

Sun Tran. Regular buses, the exact fare of $1 must be paid in cash when boarding the bus. Buses leave the airport to downtown about every half hour. Here is the schedule. One can exit at University Blvd, then walk 10-15 minutes to Sahara (West) or Sheraton (East). We do not recommend it at night.
Arizona Stagecoach ($17/person). There is a counter at the airport, next to the bagage claim.
And there are taxis waiting at the airport, the fare is about $35/taxi.

Phoenix Sky Harbor is 100 miles from Tucson. A convenient way to go to Tucson is the Arizona Shuttle.

Most people are going to stay in one of those accommodations:
Hotel Sahara
Hotel Sheraton

The lectures will take place in ILC 140. This room is one floor below street level, in University Boulevard (center of the map below).

Interested people must sign up for the visit. Vans will pick up people Wednesday at 1:30pm in a location to be determined. Sabino Canyon is a gorgeous place NE of Tucson.

Here is a map of the campus. Several restaurants and bars can be found on University Avenue, immediately West of the campus. Several museums on the campus are worth a visit, especially the mineral museum.
